I'm toying with the idea of capitalizing on the new dynamic dns capability of named by having pppd update entries for dial-up users. I would require IP and hostname. From what I can see, auth-up would give me hostname ($2) and ip-up would give me the IP ($5) but at what point in connection setup could I access both elements of information?
