Hi
Ifconfig gives this kind of info .
If you just run ifconfig ppp0 you will have the Rx/Tx bytes + errors.

Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can find a program that runs
at the command line which can monitor how much taffice is going to/from the
modem. Things like how many meg to/from, lost packets etc.
