Heya, I've found the solution!

I just ran 'mv chap-secrets pap-secrets' and it worked!
Now comes the bigs question to the ppp-dev folks; how can the same
username/password pair be wrong using chap 5 and right using pap. I don't
get it, but I don't really care much anyway, caus' I'm on the NET.
