PPPd and shadow password problem

Hi All,

I'm using a ppp server on a linux box without shadow password and
everithing is Ok.

Now I'd like to configure ppp on a linux box with shadow password, but pppd
refuse to autenticate the users.

Is there someone who knows if something different must be setted to let
pppd use shadow password?
