No. For example, one of my IP's I ifconfig is 207.104.7.120. Ifconfig
produces a netmask of 255.255.255.255 for that IP based on the 'assumed'
network IP 207.104.7.0 I believe. But because I am subnett'd, my network
IP is 207.104.7.96 whose netmask is 255.255.255.224. So that kind of thing
needs to be corrected by hand or whatever.

I have noticed with my virtual domains that route is much more fussy
with the new kernel and routing tools. Things that worked before with
the routing table don't work anymore and need to be changed to work.
