I have just installed Conectiva Linux, which is a brasilian version of
Red Hat 6.0. When I type
ifconfig ppp0
I get an error message, saying:
device not found.
I did configure ppp0 using linuxconf and the simbolic link to cua3
(modem is in DOS com 4) is correct.
Can anybody please help me. The modem works fine under Windows. It is a
standard 14400 modem (not a winmodem)
