What is DUN? I can't keep ahead of all the acronym mania.
Did you have to use software supplied by the free ISP in order to use the
service? Do you have to view ads on screen all the time? Are you sure the
password authentication is PAP? Does the software at the ISP's end disconnect
you if it thinks your screen isn't showing the ads? I suppose you can't even
use a Windows PPP program like Dial-up Networking? To find a program that runs
under Windows and records all traffic through the modem, you might try
http:/www.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet. I suppose the standalone program used to
access that free ISP offers no logging. To run under Linux, you might have to
fool the server's software into thinking you are viewing their ads.
