The peer has started PPP on it's end but chat is still waiting for the
ogin: prompt. Try using CONNECT \d\c instead of CONNECT '', deleting all
chat scripting beyond this, and configure pppd to authenticate to the peer
with PAP (implied by the papcrypt option) as described in "man pppd."
When requesting help you should post exact copies of the pppd and chat
scripts, not hand copies. Also *please* use 80 column text when posting
and don't duplicate the post in HTML. :(
