Yes, I have to use software supplied by my ISP in order to connect. I guess I have to view the ads all the time, I haven't tried. The good thing is that the ISP makes you download a small installer, which when executed on your computer dials up to the ISP and downloads the rest of the software. There were no ads being displayed while the ISP software was downloaded, and the connection was great. I hope I can use this connection... > To find a program that runs under Windows and records all > traffic through the modem, you might try > http:/www.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet. Yes, I can also try at http://www.download.com, but I don't know what to search for. I've tried for "modem monitor" and such things with bad results. Does anyone know of a specific utility? > I suppose the standalone program used to access that free ISP > offers no logging. Then I guess it must authenticate to the server, or anyone would be able to use their connection... -- Jeremas Galletti [EMAIL PROTECTED] ICQ# 38969513 - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-ppp" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
