Is it actually suitable for callback to use the "persist" option
or should I rather focus on starting a new pppd immediately after
the initiating connection (with "callback") is down?
right now the "persist" option seems to have no effect to me
(pppd goes down anyway) and when I start another pppd after it
is asked bei the remote cisco for pap-authentification but refuses it ;-(
