I have a problem with proxy arp, and I think that you
can figure out.
My prolem is :
_ I have 3 Linux hosts : host1,host2,host3
_ I make PPP from host1 to host2
_ And make PPP connection from host2 to host3
_ On host3 I have a LAN (subnet 192.168.10.0)
My question is : How to configure proxyarp for host1
so that it can reach to subnet 192.168.10.0 on host3's
LAN
192.168.10.0
|----| ppp |----| ppp |----| |
|----|----------|----|----------|----|----|Lan
host1 host2 host3 |
I 've configured IP address and route so that host1
can reach host3 successfully.
I tried to have proxyarp on host3, and the assigned IP
of host2 and host1 is the sane of subnet 192.168.10.0.
But only host2 can reach to LAN behind host3. Can we
have any solutions for host1 reaching LAN behind host3
?
