It may not be a problem for the poster as my reply to him suggested, but
the README.linux file still has the "make kernel" step with the detailed
description as to how to use kinstall.sh. According to that the pre-2.3.8
kernels still need to use that for the updated kernel code, unless I've
mis-read it.
