I wonder why I am using pppd through perl $a=system "pppd bla bla bla" $a>>=8; the $a is the exit status that always 0 no matter success or failed on connect or pppd already success to connect with the ISP and I already read the man pages of pppd , but I wonder there is an odd , if i successfully run the pppd sent USR1 signal , if the line is busy pppd sent INT signal I dont find this signaling in pppd manual pages, unless we give the signal to pppd not the pppd sent to us ! why this strange behaviour is happened ?
