I'm not sure how much help this'll be but I got it working with 2.2.17pre19.
There was a 1 line change made between pre13 and pre19 to raid0.c or
raid1.c, don't remember which. Anyways, just don't apply that piece and it
works. Well, besides the obvious Makefile reject of corse.
