Folks,
I built a Raid 0 and then Raid 5 with 8 80GB Maxtor
disks with 2 Promise100 cards (using all channels master
& slave). The bonnie for the Raid 5 is:

chunk=128K make with 4KB blocks and stride=32.
The bonnie for Raid 0 is:
500 8672 93.3 53745 27.0 25289 20.1 9367 99.1 84056 48.6 415.4 2.6
Is this performance difference expected or did I make an mistake
somewhere?
