Hi Godfrey,
There are two separate problems here:
The one which Roy C. Bixler is seeing under 2.2.17 with RAID (processes
stuck on 'D' state) is fixed by the patch I posted a while ago.
The one which you are seeing is a VM problem, and RAID has nothing to do
with it. This one is fixed by Andrea's VM patch.
