Very shortly something is going to happen with the raidreconf utility.
I know I've said it before, but it seems that I am about to ship it
off to someone else for the final bug-squashing that I don't have
time to finish myself.
So you're right, it's currently impossible - but it may become
possible in a not to distant future.
