Hi,
I am having a problem with an ide RAID array and am hoping
someone here can give me an idea how I can deal with it. I
have just moved /dev/hda to /dev/hde and /dev/hdc is now
/dev/hdg. The relevant portion of raidtab is:
# /home/ftp
raiddev /dev/md5
raid-level linear
nr-raid-disks 2
persistent-superblock 1
chunk-size 64
device /dev/hde2
raid-disk 0
device /dev/hdg1
raid-disk 1
These were once /dev/hda2 and /dev/hdc1 respectively. I
now get the following kernel messages when trying to start.
(read) ide/host2/bus0/target0/lun0/part2's sb offset:
26516992 [events: 00000114]
md: could not lock [dev 03:02], zero-size? Marking faulty.
could not import [dev 03:02], trying to run array
nevertheless.

md5 stopped.
unbind<ide/host2/bus0/target0/lun0/part2,0>
export_rdev(ide/host2/bus0/target0/lun0/part2)
... autorun DONE.
Doesn't look too good. Short of moving the drives back to
their old controler, is there anything I can do to get the
array back up wit the data intact?
Regards,
Shane
