I would like to put a DOS-type partition table on an md array. (I'm
running a 2.4.3 kernel on Red Hat 7.0.)

fdisk happily lets me do this (although md complains about an unimplemented
ioctl), but it looks like there aren't any devices for individual
partitions on an md array. (i.e. there is no /dev/md0p1, md0p2, etc.)

It also looks like there aren't any minor number bits allocated for
partitions, since the md minor numbers increment with the md unit numbers.

Anyway, it appears that it isn't possible to put a partition table on an md
array. Is that correct or am I missing something?
