Looks like all these patches are in 2.4.6-pre5 -- so I did a benchmark on my
RAID1 -- Dual IDE.
Note that I upgraded the machine from a single PIII/550 to a Dual PIII/600
(same motherboard) between these benchmarks.
However there are still some interesting differences.
Looks like threaded read performance decreased but everything else increased
(from 2.4.3 and the old PIII/550)
I expected the 2-thread read testt to increase (are we not doing balanced
reads??)
