I use two SCSI partition(each 258M) as a raid1 device md1, and mount as /var
on my RH5.2 box.
When no crash occur, it works very well. But, when the unclean shutdown, it
must be fail at reboot. raidadd run OK, raidrun FAIL with
"md:09:01: raid array is not clean -- run ckraid".
Then I run ckraid(version 0.5.01 from RH) /dev/md1, get
"...
"device /dev/md1 already clean,not ckecking
"ckraid: completed".
But raidrun fail just the same with the same message! I must run mkraid -of
/dev/md1 ,then raidrun will OK. And after fsck, I can mount it.
Why? Is ckraid no useful for this? What shall I do?
Will you please give me an answer?

THANX!
