Hi,

i need the hot swap functionnality for raid1 disk array (two disks on
kingston bays, two scsi cards), so i suppose
i should use raidtools 0.9 on 2.0.35 kernel, patched with
raid-something-2.0.35.gz
However, i had to upgrade my kernel to 2.0.36pre, because of bugged
aic7xxx driver (kernel couldn't boot).
When applying patches (raid patch, then 2.0.36-pre-patch-21.gz), some
files are rejected, and i suppose this isn't
a sure way to build a stable kernel.

Does someone know if it is possible (and sure) to use both a stable aic
driver and hot swapping md capabilities (and, if so,
what kernel should i use and what patched should be applied?)

Help will be greatly appreciated :)

Thanx,
