I have the same symptoms with 2.0.36 & 2.1.29 - downgraded to a clean 2.1.127,
patched with raid0145-19981110 and development kernel works. Using BusLogic 958,
adaptec 2940, IBM DCAS33403's. RaidTools-0.90 running a 2 disk raid0 & 3 disk
raid5. I did the --really-force thing also. Same results.
