I have a system running a vintage 1.2.124 kernel with the autorun enabled. In short I am booting and running the whole system off of a set of raid1 partiontions. I now want to upgrade to 2.2.1. I tried the simple thing of just rebuilding a kernel but that will not work, I just get panics and all stops. Will I have to rebuild my complete system?
