I have a system running raid 1 under version 2.1.124 of the kernel. I now want to upgrade to 2.2.1(I have that build at the momemt) When I try and boot the new kernel it complains about the raid partitions being bad. because this is a system running the root on raid 1 I have problems if I have to recreate the raid partitions. Is there any way that I can force an upgrade or patch the raid drives before I shut the system down?
