That would be worth seeing... I recently had to get in and muck with the
internals since we had two drives in an array go down as bad ... a
condition I found hard to believe, and was inclined to blame on the EATA
controller/driver ...

I managed to get the array to mount, but it died a few seconds after I
started an fsck on it :-( ... and never succeeded in mounting it again...
