It'd be better to set it to type fd.  Type 86 has been replaced because
it's already being used for NT's NTFS striped partitions (that's what my
caldera fdisk reports).  I've mentionned that to Zab Brown and Mingo
updated the new patch to reflect that.  So if you have type 86, it'll
spurt out a warning to change it to type fd.
