Lilo patch needed for RAID1 /

Hi,

I'am running a RAID1 (RH5.*) setup.
The only way i can get lilo to re-install the boot block is by
boot'ing non-raid1 and running lilo.

When i have a running / (RAID1) lilo says something about
Lilo is unable to use device 0900 

Is there a patch for this yet ?
