You don't need new scripts, just modify the existing ones. Under RH5.1, I
put the raid start steps immediately before the filesystem check in
/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit and the raidstop in /etc/rc.d/init.d/halt after the
filesystem are unmounted. Just remember that these changes get moved to a
.rpmsave file if you do an RPM upgrade of the initscripts package. The
latest RAID software does not need any of this if you use the autostart
features.

I know that others on the list have done some work, but I'm not sure
whether the updated docs are online or included with the latest alpha
raidtools. The code updates are coming faster than the docs.
