I'm in the process of setting up my first RAID5 array unter Linux. I've
followed the most recent docs from this list and currently have the system
somewhat running. I'm wanting to do root RAID5 with 3 4GB drives.
I started by installing RH 5.2 to /dev/sda3. I gutted the pre-installed
RAID stuff, upgraded the kernel to 2.2.0-pre5 (required for SCSI), and
installed the latest raidtools. I've got /dev/sdb3 and /dev/sdc3 running
as the RAID5 array /dev/md0. I copied the system from /dev/sda3 to
/dev/md0, setup a bootdisk, and have the system booting up with /dev/md0
mounted as "/".
I now need to integrate /dev/sda (partition /dev/sda3 is identical to
/dev/sdb3 and /dev/sdc3) into the array. Can I do this without destroying
the data (system) that's already on /dev/md0?
