I was using raid on a 2.0.35 kernel, with the raid patches and raidtools
v 0.42. (mdadd, mdrun etc.). It was running in a non optimal fashion, but
it was running. with some shell script, I was able to reboot from a
powerfail without an human intervention.

I have installed a 5.2 redhat (2.0.36 kernel) and I have no more mdadd
etc, but I have raidrun - raidadd. No problem. But when I simulate a
powerfail, raidrun-raidadd tells me "run ckraid". but there is not a
ckraid command !!!.

I tried a 2.2-pre7 kernel, but I have no better success.

I downloaded some raidtools-0.90 (raidstart + mkraid), a 2.2.0 kernel.
mkraid runs correctly, but when I try to execute raidstart, I have
"/dev/md0: Invalid argument"

what and where are the right raidtools (and a minimal-minimal
documentation) ?

thanks
