The raid device is just another disk (block) device. You
create filesystems, mount it, thrash it, check it, repair it
and so on, just like any other device.
The only extra work with raid devices, is to get the raid sets
sync'ed (in case of RAID-[145]), but that has nothing to do with
the filesystem.
For RAID level checking, /proc/mdstat is your friend
For filesystem level checking, e2fsck is the tool as usual
