Hello folks, I need advice/suggestions for setting up RAID. I'd like to setup a hardware raid system, and was wondering, if I utilized one of the on-board scsi motherboards (for example asus P2BDS) what would I need to add RAID to the system. Also, I'd like to utilize Ultra2 disks & controller. Is it better to buy a motherboard with no scsi then buy a full raid controller? What linux-supported controllers are available supporting Ultra2 disks, and what are the prices? Is the acceleraid 200, for example, compatible with the adaptec ultra2 controller? If not, what are my options (assuming that I'd use an adaptec controller) Otherwise, what would be the recommendation for a full raid controller solution? Thanks Ricardo
