FYI: I am using a K6-2 350Mhz on a 100Mhz bus ASUS and the RH5.2 install
floppy would not even boot. You wouldn't believe the hoops I had to jump
through in order to get the 2.0.36xx kernel installed and get both the
Adaptec 2940s going. The Redhat kernel patches I downloaded from your
site did fix the problem in the end. An updated boot image containing
the new kernel patches would have been useful. Or else instructions as
to how I might create one with the patches would have been sufficient.

For as much as I am guilty of spreading misinformation, I was initially
looking for something called mdtools and that was not there. I have
since found raidtools on the 5.2cd. If that's what caused the
confusion, please accept my apologies.

If you can qualify your statement of 'pretty stable' (installation boot
floppy should have been stable). And if it is stable, on the above
system then I intend to use it, thank you very much.
