Hi,

        - Suppose you have all the raid discs on hot-swapable removable
kits.

        - Suppose you use an active terminator hooked on the last cable
connector.

        - Suppose you have a *non* hot-swap capable controller.

Will it be possible to hot-swap discs? I mean, linux kernel allows
this (echo "scsi [add|remove]-single-device X X X X" >/proc/scsi/scsi). SW
raid system seems to allow this also, ad least I've seen some raid
utilities containing the word "hot" :).

Will it be possible to tell the raid to hot remove certain disc,
tell the kernel to "off" it (echo "scsi remove-single-device X X X X" >
/proc/scsi/scsi), swap discs, and do the reverse?

        What do you think?
