Ok, simple things first.

1) After a system crash/hang/etc, how does run fsck on a raid1 array?
I know you can't run it directly, but there has to be a procedure of some
kind.
2) During my last bootup, I'm getting a log of errors like these (the
last error has me quite worried):

fdisk clearly shows that each partition does NOT overlap though.
3) After the system has re-syncd all the RAID 1 arrays, the system seems
*very* unresponsive. Load is .05 on a PII w/ 256MB RAM (200MB free).
Specifically, it takes a long time before the program seems to start.
Once processing, it seems very quick, but starting up takes forever. Not
sure if it's related.
