LVM is the abreveation for logical volume manager; it is used to sum up disks to 
logical volumes (so they seem to be one disk). The advantage to raid0/linear is that 
you can add a disk whenever you want (without building a new filesystem or so).

linux.msede.com/lvm is the right URL I think.
