I usually only do BIOS upgrades when I use a CPU (such as a Celeron 333A)
with a motherboard (such as an Asus P2L97) which will not properly work
with that CPU without a BIOS upgrade.

The major problem with BIOS upgrades is that if they fail, you'll either
be sending the motherboard back or learning how to how-swap BIOS chips :)
