To search the Raid Archive try www.kernelnotes.com or www.linuxhq.com (this
server wasn't up lately, maybe it is now). This will lead you to a lot more
info about which kernel goes with what patch and what problems you might
encounter when and were.....
Also, search for R.H. 6.0 and RAID. There are a few things you should read.
You either need to compile the Raid modules into the kernel (not as
modules)or set up an initrd.
