        Mingo claims taht there will be a new raid tools and 

        kernel patch that will go along with 2.2.10 + Doug {aka Mr adaptec)

        with pIII kni 8 way xor and compares real soon now, 


        if you need it now I would use 2.2.6 with the the required 

        cracker fixes.
