I tested the Raid 5 setup by pulling the cable off one of the drives (not the one with the swap) while it was running. It correctly determined that one drive went down and continued in degraded mode. I plugged the drive back in and rebooted, but the raid is not resyncing itself. Mkraid wants to destroy all the info on that drive even when I use: mkraid --force-resync --really-force /dev/md0 How do I resync the drives again to get out of degraded mode?
