Hi,
I stractured a software-raid5 filesystem with 12 SCSI devices on Redhat5.2,
included raidtools-0.50.
Yesterday, I tested Raid-restracturing test,by power OFF of one HDD of
raid-5 on system being active.
As result, system became hung-up.
I am worry about it, if software-raid5 has many bugs still, I can't use
software-raid5 as a file server.
I want informations as follows:
Howto software-raid5 restracturing
Has Software-raid5 of Linux a reliability as good as of WindowsNT4.0
Server ?
Good setting /etc/raidtab for using software-raid5
