I think that it could be the fact , that the aic drives the drives harder
then the ncr :)
also I looked at one ncr that could not be run at 125 Mhz for the,
ram bus speed god only know how fast the normal pci bus was running.
also ncr 's that I have seen have silver leads , not gold .
