Sftwr Raid w/Redhat 6.0

I'm trying to setup Raid 1 in sftwr using Redhat 6.0 w/2 identical EIDE drives (13GB) 
as hda & hdc, but can't get it to work.  Is there any definitive doc somewhere that 
describes how to do this w/the current kernel?
