Hello!
When I try to run badblocks on a raid5 device I run into follwing trouble.
When I do:
[root@flodhest /root]# badblocks -o badblockfile -s -v /dev/md0 1658880
I then get this on the console:
Jul 31 16:30:33 flodhest kernel: badblocks(pid 3494) used obsolete MD
ioctl, upgrade your software to use new ictls.
And after running for a while the whole system crashes!
I have installed the neweste e2fsprogs, e2fsprogs-1.15.tar.gz, but it
didn't help.
How do I upgrade my "MD ioctl"?
I use raidtools 0.90, kernel 2.2.10 and raidpatches
raid0145-19990724-2.2.10.
Before the above steps I only did:
$ mkraid /dev/md0
$ mke2fs -b 4096 -R stride=8 /dev/md0
Can anyone help me?
