I tried to build a raid1 system on the 2.0.36 kernel with raid0145 patch to
the kernel, and the
raidtool 0.90. However, although the autodetect does detect the raid and
file system check
does check the device /dev/md0, when system run /etc/init.d/boot till mount
local file system,

message "Got md request, not good..."

shows up on the screen, and system stop. the raid is acturally in
reconstruction mode.

my fatab was set up mount /dev/md0 at /

and my lilo.conf is as

boot=/dev/hda2
root=/dev/md0a
iamge=/boot/vmlinuz-2.0.36
label=linux
....

I have try different patches, but all the same result.
Should I use raidtool 0.42 instead of raidtool0.90, I think raid0145 patch
and raidtool 0.90 should
worked.

I follow the Howto from the raidtool0.90 package, and I did install a raid1
system using the official
RH6.0 without any problem.

Thanks a lot for any help

Gordon
