Greetings fellow LINUX users. I have a questions. We have been using
linux on our main server for over 5 years now (and LOVE it). We have built
our business around linux and now we need to move to a more reliable
tolerant free system. Currently I have 1 server with 4 disks on it (3
9.OGB and 1 4GB on external disk bay). The amount of space is very
sufficient at the present time. I wish to know what level RAID I should
be looking at? Also, does one just need a controller card to build a RAID
unit or do you also need a special disk bay to house the disks? As you
can see I have little knowledge of the requirements of RAID. I'm sure I
have not provided enough information for some to really give a good
recommendation, so please let me know what other infomation is needed.
Thanx!
