2.2.7 works quite well for me on several systems with RAID. An I believe that's
the kernel VA use themselves (don't know if they use a patched version though,
you could ask them about that).
In my experience 2.2.7 is the last of the 2.2.x kernels that really works well.
On the other hand, you might want to wait for another week or so, until 2.2.11
comes out. That one _ought_ to fix a number of problems seen in 2.2.{8,9,10}. Some
of these bugs are present in earlier 2.2 kernels as well, they just only show up
in the latter kernels.
Cross your fingers, and let's hope 2.2.11 will be a "good" kernel release :)
I would guess that 2.2.11 comes out within a week, but does anyone have any real clues
