I'm happily using S/W RAID on my Linux boxes, so first of all THANKS
to everybody for writing it.

Now the inevitable question..

How easy is it to move a RAID device? Specifically, I have six SCSI
drives on the same controller which I want to split between two
controllers. Everything is mirrored, I boot off a persistent
superblock array and have my user file system on a mirrored stripe. If
I set up a bootable IDE drive, can I just boot up off that, edit
raidtab and reboot off the main one?

I'm running kernel 2.2.10, raidtools-0.90 under RedHat6.0 on a dual
processor Pentium II.

Thanks in advance.

John
