I am seeing a 1.95x speed increase for RAID0 on an ASUS based U/33
system also.

Given that #3 PCI shares an interrupt with the on board HPT366, it's
essentially no different than sticking a Promise U/66 in slot 3.  I
guess I was expecting a little more from expensive cables, big cache and
7200 RPM.  +13% is not exactly break out the champaign material.

Some of the NT/w98 folks are reporting much higher numbers than 17MB/s. 
I didn't catch what if any methodology was used.

Thanks for the feedback.  I'll watch for timeouts when the second drive
and RAID0 goes in.
